Strength united with elegance - a beer which should be enjoyed with respect. The beautiful harmony between the deep colour and the full-bodied taste has made Bjørne Bryg a success.

Can from Systembolaget, but marked as 7,2%. Compared to similar beers at Systembolaget this is a different fruity smell. I get some dried fruit and almond paste. It feels artificial though and it is all floating on a boozy cloud. Very sweet taste, cloyingly sweet. Artificial and boozy without bitterness. Some metall as well. Not very nice but actually better then most in this range.

Quite a sweet mess to disguise high ABV, thou its still quite pushy. Some bit weird synthetic fruitiness, feels bit plastic. Sweet with some bitterness. Could finish 1/3 of a can - its quite drinkable for this category x) Thou.. never again

Pale golden, white/grey head, smells sweet, malty and grass.. Taste was a little strange - plastics, hoppy, malty... You can say that it’s strong because of % but weak because of aroma and taste. Overall, drinkable, but strange beer.

This beer is the worst beer I have ever had. Ever. How did you make this beer? 5 year old piss from a dead sheep? Seriously. Do not. Ever. Buy this beer. What does this brewery make for a living? Battery acid? It’s not even funny, it’s so horrendous. Aroma—piss Appearance—I liked the logo Taste—dead sheep piss Palate—Are you fucking kidding me? Overall—death

500ml can. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Malty base but the high alcohol punches through way too hard. //Rated via Beer Buddy

Backlog. Tried at an blind lager-tasting at Systembolaget. Actually won the blind-lager test. Has a decent amount of malt-sweetness to it, with some dried fruits, ethanol, and a lingering metallic note.

@Ölprovning på Havregatan. Burk från Systembolaget. Arom: Maltig, metallisk, söt. Smak: Sötma, metallisk, lätt beska. Kroppen är medelfyllig, avslutningen metallisk och en aning spritig.

500 ml can as “Bear Beer 7.7%” bought at ParkNShop Superstore in Fanling.

Pale golden yellow colour; Three-quarter finger head with white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Small sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Sweet smell of malt, with strong corn syrup, light metallic, light bread and very light grass; Sweet taste of malt, with very light medicine syrup, metallic, caustic alcohol, very light lemon, light bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body, thick and slick palate; Mouth feel is Euro malt likka on light side, strongly metallic, syrup taste is strong but bearable, not so cloying. Lightly malty, fusel taste is caustic and quite strong, very close to screaming… Hoppiness is light grassy nose, and notable spikes of bitter grassy hops in taste. Sharp but cheap astringency for sweet-bitter finish; Slightly dry after taste. Sweet and quite caustic to mouth.

Comments: I thought as a Strong Pale, its booze content is lower than 9% and 12% versions, so this one should be more tolerable and drinkable. Wrong! Its fusel booze is lighter but screamingly strong as ever, and lesser syrup sweetness only expose the thin malt and strong and quite harsh metallic taste. Below-average cheap stuff for the park benches, and Saint Omer 8.0% is way better!

Bättre än förväntat. Mycket malt och sötma. Relativt bra balans, trode det skulle vara skit men nja. Ok
