Decent lager head & brighter gold hue with an aroma of citrus-cardboard. Flavour is pretty much nothing with a watery finish and a particle board aftertaste. Might as well drink the higher alcohol version and at least get wasted for your efforts!

500 ml can. As Harboe Bear Beer 4.7%. Brewed by Darguner Brauerei, Dargun, Germany. Finland.
Clear pale golden colour with small white head.
Malty aroma with some unpleasant grassy notes.
Mild malty flavour with mild grassy bitterness.
No good bulk Lager.

11.2 oz. bottle that I received as a gift from my sister and her husband. Pours a hazy pale gold with a thin linen white head that was gone by the second sip and left scant lace. The aroma is very mild with perhaps a wisp of malt along with some white sugar. The flavor is weak malt with some white sugar sweetness and old leather. Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid and you would chew on the string of your baseball mit. Thin body. All I can say is thank goodness I didn’t buy this beer.

Bottle. Clear, pale, and fizzy. Aroma is similar to a pilsner, with light malt and mild European hops. Flavor is light and crisp, with a nice balance of cereal malt and crisp but very mild hops. A decent pale northern European lager.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2012 Can. yellow colour with a white head. Light lager aroma. Hopless flavour. I would have expected a little bit more. Light malt sweetness

A bit of a disappointment.. Or maybe I should say "excellent bulk lager"...

33cl bottle. Clear pale yellow lager. Looks nice but when you drink it you can only taste alcohol and nothing more.Not very balanced beer, there’s some light hints of herbs, but it suddenly goes away.

Bought two tall cans in a super market in Xindian City in Taiwan. Imported. The head poured all right, stuck around for a bit, but the overall product is entirely forgettable. Empty aftertaste, generic taste. Expected more since I didn’t mind the Harboe’s red so much.
