(bottle - 330 ml) Pale straw yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet and dry with grainy and corny notes. Some dry hops. Flavor is mild and sweet. Some very light hops and grass come through at the end, but mainly it tastes like a light pils.

Smallish white head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Dense impure butterscotch aroma. Sweetish burnt buttery taste with mealy caramelly notes and traces of vegetables. Soft, slick, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry grassy chalky impure buttery hop aftertaste. Not so good, too heavy on the butter. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

In Sweden as Bjørne Bryg Dansk Øl (4.5%) - someone please beermail me if this is at the wrong place. Thanks to a friend too. Yellow body, small white head. Sweet-salty malty-herbal nose. Sweetish grainy nose, ordinary but nice enough, some dust. More of the same in the taste, sweetish grainy malt, but with some light acidity all around and some light bitterness. Meh, not perfect but a serviceable pale lager.

Can 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grian, molasses. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. For me a cheap pale lager just borring but not bad. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090131]

Appearance: yellow color. Little, white and not lasting head. Aroma: typical Harboe’s aroma, mainly of adjuncts grains, extract of hops and of citric reminiscences like lemon-peel and medicinal herbs. Flavor: start of the grains, progress slightly citric/bitter similar to lemon-peel. Light dry final with metallic touches. Palate: light body and medium carbonation. Remark: poor beer.

Clouded yellowy gold, large bubbles, quickly dying head. Sweet malt, light grain aroma, touch of ginger spice. Sweet gingery, lemony flavor, minimal bitterness/sourness in the finish.

500 ml can - $.84 apiece at Trader Joes. Pours cliear, light golden with a large white head that diminished fairly rapidly. Sweet malty, adjunct aromas with a light soapiness and hop scent. Almost sickly sweet lager flavor, definite adjunct taste yet still watery, with grassy hops and a lingering tart finish. Light body and tickeling carbonation. Overall - not so good... But what did I expect from a cheap imported pale lager.

Got this bottle last week at Sendik’s (?) in Minneapolis. I poured it agressively and got a decent white head and no lace. Color is a clear yellow gold. Aroma was very beery with some malt and hop. Flavor was immediately bittersweet followed by a cornsweetener like flavor. Fairly clean. Sharp carbonation and not much body. Short, forgettable finish. Had many lots worse and better.

Can - Swedish version. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma is sweet malt and some honey. Taste is likewise - only a bit watery.
