Listen, this beer is in a different league than most of the veers you’re interested in on this site. A low, minor, league. But you’re probably also paying minor league rates. Many places in Worcester sell this for $1-2 a pint. I’ll take that, and get what I pay for.

faroeviking (10290) - FAROE ISLANDS - JUN 28, 2009
Can. Clear bit pale golden colour with a white bubbly creamish fairly well lasting head. Malty bitter hoppy little metallic aroma. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is mild with a soft maltiness and bitterness along with grass, some sweetness (honey..?) and with a dry bitterish malty finish. Thin brew but not that bad.

OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 9, 2009
Canned. Plain golden colored. Low white head. Sweetish buttery malts and light harsh hops to the nose. Taste is sourish malty with vegetables notes and some grassy hops. Lively mouthfeel and quite well-bodied for a 3.5% beer. A noticable bitterness in the finish. Not the worst ofi its kind.

Marsiblursi (3001) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2008
(Canned) Pours a pale golden color with small white head. The aroma is a bit sour with light sweet malty tones of hay and bread, some vegetables with corn as the most notable, touch of grassy hops, honey and some butterscotch. The flavour is of hay-ish and bread like malt with some hints of grassy hops. Light bitter and dry finish. The mouthfeel is quite clean and and hard with a sharp carbonation and a tiny buttery ending. Light bodied.

Gr0ve (2132) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 18, 2008
500 ml can. Golden colour. Crystal clear. Oily hop aroma with some sugary malt notes. Sharp unbalanced hop flavours. Very metallic and harsh. Light bodied with little malts coming through the otherwise hoppy beer. The bitterness lasts all the way through. Some sourish notes towards the finish. A bit too unbalanced, but there are some promising sides to this beer.
