2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
500ml can, poured into a footed Pilsner glass. Appearance is clear golden with a large frothy off-white head that reduced quickly, leaving some lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat bread, grains and a hint of metallic notes. Flavours of wheat bread and cereal. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Palate is light bodied, watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshingly light and dry, far surpassed my expectations considering that Burgenfels Premium Pilsner is an inexpensive low alcohol beer.

500ml can, shared by djoeye. Good lacing from a dissipating bubbly white head. Clear golden body. Minimal aroma of sweet malts. Pale and brown malty flavours followed by distant hops at the ending. Soft. Inoffensive and anonymous (Tromsø 14.05.2014).

Can, november 10th 2012. Clear golden, low white head. Aroma of straw and old hops. Watery taste with sweet bread, low bitterness, dry and surprisingly grassy finish. As boring as they get.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I evaluate this beer as a very good one. It tastes as close as one can get to beers like Warsteiner or Berlin Kindl or Flensburger. Heavy german beer so to say. Long aftertaste. Its hard to find as good low alcoholic beers as this.
