Botella. Clear dark brown colour, small beige ehad, bubbly. Sweet caramel bread aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet, dark malty bread and caramel.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Almost black - offwhite head. Smokey, dark bread, sweetness, roasted, brown sugar, light bitterness, light syrup, licorice.

Bottle at Papsø. Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and bread with notes of liquorice. Sweet flavour of caramel and bread. Sweet finish.

(Sample at Papsø’s) Pours a clear and very dark brown with rich, toffee head that laces the glass. Aroma is strongly dark grainy/cereal, which is gradually replaced by metallic notes as the brew heats up. Light body with soft carbonation and a long, sweet finish. Taste is strongly sweet, syrupy and unrefined.

Bottled. A deep red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of bread, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a very dark, clear brown bordering black with a reddish hue and a lacing beige head. Sweet roast and burned caramel with a coconut twist. Light body, sweet roast and molasses with a discreet touch of hops. Not your typical Hvidtøl but rather nice. 240811

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is flat malty, dark roasted and breadish. Sweet, dark malty and breadish. Sweet and caramelish. Light liqourice finish.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark bread, ryebread. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light bitter with a long duration, sweet ryebread, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101213]

Very dark brown color, small brown head. Very ryebready, wort, some smoke in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Very sweet. Lots of Bamberg-type smoke in the syrupy flavor! Just too much worts and sweetness.

Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is raisins, some smoked notes, some slight sweet raisins and mild notes of mash. Flavour is mash, slight smoked and ashy notes. Strangely enough it’s a quite balanced low alcoholic thing.
