Can. Rather golden yellow with almost no white head. Slightly weak aroma of malt. Sweet malty flavor. Average finish. Nothing wrong - but boring still.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(Canned) Colour is pale yellow, straw coloured, with a huge white, disappearing, head. Nose is malty, rather sweet with notes of grassy hops. Taste is malty, bready, rather dry, with a nice grassy hop character in the finish (which is too short). Not a brilliant beer, but surprisingly enough it actually tastes beer (which I normally not expect from Danish commercial brewers). Better than expected.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2006 Can, 4,6% ABV labeled as Harboe Premium Pilsener
Pours a hazy and lively carbonated yellow pilsener with a big fast diminishing head that leaves a lacing. Sweet malty aroma with grainy notes and moderate hops. Flavor is sweet with a low end bitterness and a little metallic feel. There’s also a slighlty sour aftertaste, typical of the style. Nice pils.

It sometimes comes down to perspective. I am in Santiago at the moment where the seleccion of cerveza is muy pobre. OK, enough of the language affectation, it is a bad place for beer, but even when a beer like this comes along there is a bit of a shick to the ystem. By this I mean that apart from the usual apearance of a clean pilsner there is a degree of hop aroma and flavour and some clean malt flavours. Not as bad as its percentile indicates. Plus it is cheap here.
