Not much of a red, really. Tastes a lot like most of the Harboes I’ve had. Had in a can in Taiwan
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 thirstyrabbit (719) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 21, 2011
Can. Slightly hazy amber body - not really a typical pale lager appearance. Aroma has some hops and syrup. Taste has light caramel and mild hops. A bit more interesting than most canned lagers.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 Brix (633) - DENMARK - JAN 8, 2011
Tasted 2011-01-08. Courtesy of my sister-in-law. Pours clear amber. A little sweet. Practically no bitterness. Weak flavour wise. No off flavours though. Drinkable. Had it side by side with a Harboe Dark. They were chockingly difficult to tell apart - both visually and flavour wise.

Can 33 cl from Bier-Bienne (CH). Pretty clear red beer, off-white head fleeting. Scent of malt, caramel, key of butter. The taste is light of malt, watery, with a touch of hop coated with toffy. More bitter and metallic finish. "Beer of thirst" without claims.

Red-copper color with very small head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma. Sweet and malty taste with hint of hops. Bitter in palate, strange like chemically created. Aftertaste a bit bitter but not long lasting.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 beerlady (556) - lucerne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 13, 2009
has a rather bright copper color but almoust no headsmells malty, sweetish, some caramel, has a hint of bitteralmonds, some strange fruits(in an artificial way), smells rather sweet too. tasts a little bit less sweet than it smells , some malt and a taste remembering a bit to burnt breadcrust. aftertaste is bittersweet, something burnt, and an artificial hint. the beer looks better than it is in fact.
