2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Skinnyviking (5944) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2006
Can Off-white creamy and surprisingly lasting head. In spite ot its name the body is clear amber, not red. Aroma of sweet berries. Roasted malt flavor and a bitterness which is not to my taste. Strange mixture but with more character than expected.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 nigredo (28) - Santiago de Chile, CHILE - MAR 30, 2006
Red amber filtered color. Medium-sized bubbles in the bottom and the walls of the glass. White head. Sweet smell, notes of tobacco and fresh wood. Pleasing bitterness, a bit irregular, vaguely sweet. Aftertaste bitter. Texture a bit denser than water.

33 cl can. No yeast at the bottom. Amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma of nuts, and a lot of caramel. Sweet flavour with a overtone of caramel and end quite bitter, not a well balance beer.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2006 Redish amber color, white head. Medium carbonation. Aroma is malty with some woody notes. Clear and sparkling liquid. Flavor is spicey with hints of tobbaco. Light body and nice bitter finish. A light but pleasant beer. I don’t understand the bad ratings...it’s pretty good.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 yngwie (10754) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2007 Can. Why du they call it "Red Beer"? Its dark golden to light amber in color with a beige-yellow head. The only red about it is the can. Anyway, at 10$ for 24cans in Germany, it is useful to get drunk when in Denmark at a place with not much else to drink. The aroma is light, light malty, the taste is not bad, its just not there. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel? Like the rest. (050915)
