COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, sugar. Taste is sweet with malt, caramel, braon sugar, faint sweet fruit. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very sweet brew, but actually one of the better Harboe. 150212

heavy cloying sweetness, alcohol, brown, clear, brown foam, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, not too good of a beer, really intense in taste and kind of foul for me. Also, 0,5 L is far too big of a bottle for this kind of beer.

Clear brown with a beige head. Aroma is very sweet malty - like rye bread - and caramel. Flavor is very sweet and so is the finish. Lightbodied, sticky and without any bitterness. Essentially a strong hvidtøl, and that’s not a good thing. It looks like a beer and that’s all this beer has going for it. 210310

Bottle. Pours a blackish brown color with a frothy beige head. Aroma is of grains, liqourice, brown sugar and smells very sweet. Flavor is quite metallic and grainy with alot of sweetness, along with the brown sugar and liqourice. The body is light and watery. Overall a pretty bland and boring brew.

0.5L bottle, gift from KnutAlbert. Many thanks! Sparkling, brilliant dark ruby colored body, topped by low coarse tan head. Smell of sweet plum marmelade, burnt sugar and English licorice. Sweet-flavored and succulent in the mouth. Taste is malt drops, English licorice and dark molasses/treacle. No hops to speak of, some spicy notes only. A vague tone of fruity acidity, too. Sugary sweet, malty fade. Appears as a powered up Hvidtøl/Vørterøl. A drinkable sweetheart.

Biggish beige head. Barely translucent deep dark red body. Earthy licorice aroma with metal and chocolate notes. Sweet earthy licorice and treacle taste with not a whole lot else going on. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Full-bodied. Sweet syrupy earthy aftertaste. Really lacking in complexity and unbalanced sweet. Soft and smooth, but that’s not enough to outweigh the problems. Like a soft drink, really. (0.5l bottle, Bilka, Copenhagen.)
