Small stable white head. The flavour is clean, especially for an ale. Not really bitter or with any interesting aroma hops. A lot like a pale lager.

Boring. beerisgoodforu (6), Denmark does not count | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Sep 22, 2009 How can this brewery ever call this a Pale Ale taste like a bad lager or pilsner??? First of on the back of the bottle it says: ’’Original Pale is a outstanding type of Pilsner, that makes itself distinguished by its, delicate and, slightly bitter flavour. The beer is named after the beer’s light and pale looks’’. Sounds like Harboe has never heard of a real Pale Ale, since it has no taste of hops at all, and because they categorize it as a type of Pilsner. The Aroma is malt, and soapy. The flavour is again malt, it is skunky and tastes somewhat of soap. Overall a very crappy beer from a brewer who probably dosen’t know a thing about beer or at least Pale Ale. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Bottle. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and fruit. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Bright copper, but no head. The aroma is vague, just a light citrus fruitiness and apple. Faint fruits (apple, lime) and barely any caramel malt. One of those beers of the bygone era when "pale ale" meant a watered-down SNPA. Beershine (2710), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Bottle. Coppery gold with some scattered lacing. Plastic aroma has apples and pears. The palate is alright, a little too sticky for the flavors, and leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, yukky. The hops and malts want to be there but they ran off, there are only whispers of each remaining. Watery palate, cardboard, still manages to be drinkable. Monkeypower (87), Odense C, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Nice amber with a fine, white head. An odd aroma with thyme and a dull, meatish liver note to it. The flavor has some malts, thyme and barley as well, though it is stlil marked by this odd note. Perhaps a fault in the production?
