Medium dark brown color with nice light beige head. Roasted malts, some carameland chocolate aroma. Light sweet and hoppy taste but watery for a stout. Not much of palate and aftertaste vanishes quickly.

flemmingwillum (738) - Copenhagen S, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2009
Appearance is almost black, though there is some red nuances in the bottom of the glass. Where is the head? It is just some sporadic foam on the surface of the beer. Aroma has traces of liqourice, but most of all is smells like butter cheese, and quite obviously! Taste isn’t that bad, it is marked by obvious chocolate and a little smoke, but then the beer turns into butter and metal, which is very sad. Palate is soft, but very thin. Watery beer.

No head. Chocolate brown colour. Hollowed-out toasty grains. Thin body. Hints of cheap coffee and nuts. Goes down pretty quickly. Lame as expected but it’s not undrinkable.

Beershine (4754) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - AUG 12, 2009
Dark brown with beige head, red tint in the light and thin looking. Cola, carob, and butter aromas. Soft oily palate and a thin body. The dark malt is nice but lacking roast. Is sweet but not sugary and finishes fast after some cheep coffee powder flavors. Meh.

jesperhammer (1531) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2009
Rating #100 Can, 01-JUN-2009. I had planned on drinking something speciel for my rating #100, but then I was offered this, and why turn down a stout? Very light for a stout - almost Coke colout with some nice light brown head. Roasted notes on the nose, and the same aggreable roasted malty tones in the flavor. Very sweet and a little thin texture, but very nice and high drinkability. I actually gladly downed another.
