   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 11/20
CaptainCougar (6749) - Boz Scaggsville, Maryland, USA - JUL 27, 2006
Pours a transparent bright pale golden with a thin covering of thin-lacing white head. Mostly dry, grainy and bitter aroma has some floral noble hoppy notes and lager character. Body starts clean and lightly sweet with some biting carbonation and a thinner, smooth, but dull finish. One of the better examples of the style that I’ve tried, but that doesn’t say much.

Cornfield (5240) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAR 9, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2005 Yet another bit of nasty subcontracting perpetrated by Joseph Huber, this one under the guise of the "Harborside Beverage Group ." This smelled so badly that the young fellow tending bar at Palmer Place both gave me credit for the drink and bought me something else. Gold in color, skunk in aroma, and sweet corn in taste. Sticky sweet finish. Nasty crap.

JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 9, 2006
Wow, another brew from Huber. Straw color with a modest white paper colored head. Mild DMS and sweet grainy aromas. Light malt liquor flavors abound. Light white grapes, mild grain and a touch of herbal hops. Something else to boil my brats in.

BBB63 (4939) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - OCT 20, 2006
Bottle and served in a standard pint glass: Pours a clean golden hue with a quickly fading head and no lace. The aroma has notes of wild grains, floral hops, and some acidic fruit. The taste is straight forward with a clean light bitterness over a base of sweet pale malts, sadly there is a hint of vegetable as well but not so much it is somewhat refreshing and drinkable. The palate as expected is short and thin with a chalky aftertaste. Okay in the realm of the style.

Dogbrick (4531) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2008
Bottle from The Liquor Barrell in Benton, IL. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Sweet aroma with notes of grainy malt and corn. Light body with sweet malt and mild grassy hops flavors. The finish is short and malty with a sweet aftertaste that does not linger. Overall this beer is not good, not bad, just...there.

esjaygee (2496) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 27, 2008
Golden yellow with a medium head. Aroma of grain, corn, malt and apple. Taste of corn, apple and dirty socks. Astringent and watery, another Minhas lager that just isn’t very good.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of grain and sweet malts. The flavor is corn-like, sweet malts, and grain. ok beer.
