Not really my kind of beer - more of an IPA drinker. Fruity, sweet and malty to taste. A little bland though.

Bottled. Amber with a decent, off-white head. Yeasty, stone fruits, some caramel and citrus hops before a dry finish with trace of sourness. Ok.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted - caramel, fruity, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, orange, light hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120504]

Cask conditioned handpump The Rake London 19/03/13. An amber brown coloured beer with a white bubbly head. A bit sweet and sugary in the nose. Sweet and disjointed in the mouthat first where it’s a bit cloying. Berry fruitiness then starts to come through and it becomes reasonably tasty. A beer of two halves, neither of which is brilliant but it’s OK.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A hazy dark amber beer with toffee and a slight sour citrus fruity flavour with a sweet and malty finish.

Bottle. For some reason I expected this to be much better than it turned out to be. Quite lively on opening which is never a good start. Clear with some bitterness but no real taste. Bland and disappointing.

500ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Dark amber brown colour, reasonable head. Resin fruity hop aroma. Fruity resin flavour. Quite sharp with mild citrus aftertaste. Disappointed with this one.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits, Birmingham. Clear copper pour with a thin white frothy head and a little lacing. Malty aroma and a malty flavour with some toffee notes. Nice bitterness on the palate. Needs to be drunk young, fresh and not too cool. The flavour developed and this beer got better as it got warmer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
