500ml bottle from Sainsburys, Shrewsbury. Bought to see what all the fuss is about. Seemed to be the talk of the town once it hit the shelves of the local Sainsburys. And I can see why.. lined up against all the usual ale suspects this is extremely refreshing. Smooth, floral with a few juicy drops of lime. Good stuff.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Dagan. Clear gold-amber. Hoppy, fruity aroma and a little green, too. Hoppy but slightly grainy taste, medium-bodied, grainy finish. Good.

Dark gold with massive white head due to high carbonation. Hop and citrus aroma slight citrus taste at start quickly becoming bitter and I thought a little bready that dulled the IPA style Ok but have had better

Bottle- copper coloured with slim white head. Citrus hops aroma with sweet malts. Bit of a peculiar taste, unbalanced, spicey, medicinal mix of flavours. Medium bodied, dry, quite high carbonation. Don’t really like it.

Pours copper orange with small white soapy head. Aroma is a lazy generic template IPA - citrus and earthy, spicy hops. Taste is much the same, sweet citrus and British spicy, savoury hop flavor. Very little malt presence - poorly balanced. Bitterness in the tail is rough and unrefined. For once Ratebeers style classification is accurate: lacks malt presence and body of an IPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Dagan. Clear golden. Hoppy aroma with overripe fruits, a bit weedy. Flavor has a bit of sweetish english malt, a hint of biscuit and nice hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Bottled 08/02/14. A massively carbonated beer hence it pours with an enormous rocky white head atop the slightly hazy golden body. It’s very bitter and has lots of hops. Quite sharp with a little sweetish malt in the nose. Pretty tasty but a bit problematic.

Bottle from Sainsburys for just £1.50 - Bargain! Upon taking a sniff there is a noticable citrus (lemon and grapefruit), floral, grassy and slightly spicey aroma. Taking a sip these things are noticable in the taste, along with resin and pine leading into a slightly sharp and sour bitterness which lingers in the finish. A very nice beer indeed although the fizzy carbonation is a bit heavy handed. Definitely buying again!

500ml Bottle: BBD 1st May 2014. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 10th Jan 2014. This is the first beer of a ’random beer tasting evening’ I’m having with myself while the wife is dining with a bunch of other ladies elsewhere. Exceedingly lively, only got about a third of the bottle into the glass on the first pour because the head it produced just kept growing and growing. Below it was a misty, deep old gold coloured body. The huge head left some heavy lacing too. Spicy hop nose with citrus undertones. The beer was refreshing and tasty: bitter and almost sharp on the tongue, the hops ruling the malt contents completely. I’m not fan of golden brews that have a citrus front usually: however this has enough character and depth of spiciness to equal those lemon/lime type flavours and aromas. I thought a peppery taste arrived as it warmed a little too. Most enjoyable.
