2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask @ The Vintage Leith. Poured amber with a thin white head. The nose is all hops, some more hops and then a few more added. Lemongrass is to the for with taste but there is a bread/pumpernickel note on the finish. A liitle unbalanced.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle from Sainsburys served cold in a tasting glass. Very hazy brown with a white head. Aroma of nectarine. There is a tropical fruit flavour, and grapefruit, but it doesn’t quite develop, and the texture is quite thin: O.K. but no more.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. bbd 05/11/13. Pours a cloudy amber with a foamy white head. Not a big aroma - a bit malty, a bit fruity - sweet candy fruits. Some tropical fruits, the citrus, some caramel, bitter but but just not really happening. The caramel is pretty prevalent, maybe that’s it. Anyway, it’s OK.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows herbal, earthy and piny hops with some sweet light malt underneath and a touch of bready notes.
Acidic flavours, presumably slightly infected, with a soft bretty note as well. Other than that there’s some orange marmalade and biscuity malt.
Body feels watery.
