Clear golden beer with a frothy head. The aroma is strong citrus with a slight hoppy edge. Slightly lively on the tongue, flavour is also citrus as you’d expect with a hit of that though it sort of sours into the backtaste. Tasty, interesting and very drinkable.

Gylden lys brun noe tåkete med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter fersken, rips, bringebær og noe gjær. Lite fruktighet i smak, men en fin blomsterbitter smak som sitter til en middels lang avsluttning.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Salford. Golden with a thin head. Dryish pale ale with a crisp light fruitiness and plenty of nose.

Pours pale golden yellow, clear. White head. Aroma is piney and sweet. Full body. Not all that bitter. Finish is neither sticky nor crisp. A pretty good effort, overall.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Stable, fair white head to a near-clear dark golden body. Spotty lacing to the glass. Fresh citrus, bread, and leafy hops on the nose. Lemon, leafy hops, pine, and earthy malts to the taste buds, lightly spiced. Bitter dry-hopped ending. Medium bodied. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing and wok food friendly (Tromsø 09.08.2015).

Aroma: diacetyl, butterscotch. Appearance: golden color and nice whte head. Taste: low bitterness (heather, herbs), diacetyl, caramel, flowers, quite dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation. Overall: It’s a shit, bro.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. BBE 18.05.16. Pours golden to amber, with a quite big, white, frothy head. Pine, resin, some citrus and malt nose. A bit harsh. Grapefruit, some tropical fruit, resin and pine flavour. Harsh. Unbalanced bitterness. Medium body. Soft carbonation. A bit grainy.

Bottle. Pours a deep bubbly orange-hued golden body with a large cloudy off-white head. Nose is red berries, straw, grass, pine, herbs and hints of pepper, artificial candy notes, dry leaves and melon. Taste is grass, caramel, toffee, pepper, brown bread and hints of dry leaves, herbs and straw. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Very earthy, with little of the fruitiness I desire in an IPA. Fair enough, but not a nudge more.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 17.07.15. Clear, pale orange. Foamy off-white head and lacing. Persisten lacing, but diminishing head. Moderate aroma, with some citrus and tropical fruits. Similar taste, with slightly unfresh citrusy bitterness. Decent drinkability, but there’s something about it that is not entirely positive. Earth, metal, sulphur?

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. BB May 2016, 5.2%. Slightly hazy, dark orange, highly sparkling, small dense creamy head. Aroma is straw, grassy, tangerine, and pine. Nice hoppy character. Body is medium, slightly foamy, tingly carbonation. Taste is pine, car air freshener, straw, grapefruit, orange pith, grassy bitterness. For a supermarket purchase, this is pretty, pretty good.
