Bottled, 500ml from Marks & Spencers in Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. There is a crisp hoppy character to this from the start, citrus, zesty notes, rich tea biscuit. The beer is crisp throughout and refreshing. Lemon notes in the close. Very pleasant indeed for the ABV.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Pleasantly light in its texture, it feels good in the palate. Has plenty of pale ale character with a stated enough dry tropical fruitiness.

DruncanVeasey (7999) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2015
Cask, Draper’s, 24/09/15. Mildly wonderful half taken on the sun licked patio in the shadow of the cathedral. Thick collared dull gold lacing handsomely. Nose of melon, red apple, fruit salad in Tupperware. Good sting of bitterness, rich tea linger, fine stewed hop suggesting nettles, lemon mousse zested with peel, mellow kumquat. Doesn’t quite sing but getting there.

Minimally grassy, slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, biscuity malty background. Taste is floral and slightly citrusy, fruity hoppy, minimally sweet pale malty, hints of lemon, a grassy touch. Refreshing, very drinkable - nice.
