3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the Bottle Bank.
Appearance - golden amber with a decent head.
Nose - nettles and elderflower. A little sweet maris otter in the background.
Taste - citrus, nettles again. Again a gentle sweet malt backbone.
Palate - light bodied with a light but creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - totally reminds me of Orkney Best. A light but perfectly balanced and restrained beer that refreshes fantastically.
