Scopey (11365) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2016
Cask at Blisland Inn Cornwall. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, grapefruit, orange peel, floral, brioche and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter, floral, light peppery spice, straw, grapefruit, lemon peel and a touch of soap with a firm, dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Fresh and pretty drinkable. Decent.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Pleasantly light in its texture, it feels good in the palate. Has plenty of pale ale character with a stated enough dry tropical fruitiness.

Cask, Draper’s, 24/09/15. Mildly wonderful half taken on the sun licked patio in the shadow of the cathedral. Thick collared dull gold lacing handsomely. Nose of melon, red apple, fruit salad in Tupperware. Good sting of bitterness, rich tea linger, fine stewed hop suggesting nettles, lemon mousse zested with peel, mellow kumquat. Doesn’t quite sing but getting there.

Idiosynkrasie (5863) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 24, 2015
500ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grassy, slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, biscuity malty background. Taste is floral and slightly citrusy, fruity hoppy, minimally sweet pale malty, hints of lemon, a grassy touch. Refreshing, very drinkable - nice.

berkshirejohn (5679) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2015
50cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A pale amber pour with a thin white head; sweet grainy aroma with a trace of tropical fruit; similar taste with some apricot and almond; and a rather sticky finish with a slight rasp to the bitterness. If this has aspirations to be an APA it fails miserably, and it doesn’t really fit the mould of a classic English light ale.

Mortlach (1775) - Rome, ITALY - MAR 28, 2015
Handpump @Mad For Beer (Rome). Pale yellow, just a little bit cloudy, with a medium white foam. Aroma has light grassy notes and tropical fruits, some biscuits and, some yeasts, nice! Taste has a light malt profile wit ha decent bitter end, clean and drinkable. Low body, fresh and refreshing. Decent session for sure, just "too much" watery.

AshtonMcCobb (4829) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 24, 2014
Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - nettles and elderflower. A little sweet maris otter in the background. Taste - citrus, nettles again. Again a gentle sweet malt backbone. Palate - light bodied with a light but creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - totally reminds me of Orkney Best. A light but perfectly balanced and restrained beer that refreshes fantastically.
