Growler from Mane Liquor. Pours hazy yellow with a big, firm white head. Nose shows heavy citric fruits and grapefruit. Shows a good dose of bitterness. Taste is sweet and bright citrus, very lemon forward with a big hit of grapefruit on the back end. Light body and very easy drinking. Great balance and 6% hidden well. Tasty

Aroma: Grapefruit, lemon and peach.

Appearance: Hazy amber body with a think white head. Light lacing marks.

Taste: Light and fruity with no hint of the 6.0% ABV. Sweet malt flavour in the background. Bitter and tasty.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Light carbonation.

Overall: Very easy to drink - juicy fruit flavours are balanced really well against sweet malt.

[keg at the Hanging Bat, Edinburgh] Pours a hazy golden amber, with a decent white head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange and lemon, some slightly sweeter fruit in there as well. Classic Citra flavour – chockfull of grapefruit zest. Soft and flowery at the same time, however, before finishing dry and nicely bitter. Great balance [22012013]

Keykeg at the firefly. Pours very hazy light orange colour with a small bubbly white head. Good aroma full of tropical fruits, grapefruit, pineapple etc. Taste has the tropical fruit sweetness but is balanced by some earthy tones. There’s a hint of pepper maybe. This is actually really good. Reminds me of something from the kernal brewery.

Cask @ Holyrood 9A 280912
Light amber, clear, dense white head
Aroma - sofr citrus hops, grapefruit, some mango, light sweet malt backbone. Mainly all hops, great aroma
Taste as aroma, hint of grassy hop but mainly sweet and quite fruity, nice hop malt balance
Palate - soft carb and medium body, fairly sticky texture, pretty sweet, nice fruity sweet malts and citrus. Finish - sweetness counteracts the bitterness just right, a fairly bitterish faint tail
Overall - This is a really well made and tasty IPA

Cask at Southern. Pale copper amber, frothy white head. Juicy slightly creamy tropical fruits, citrus zest, grapefruit, touch of passion fruit nose. Beautiful soft juicy fruits, sweet balanced malts, touch of orange peel, soft grapefruit bitterness that builds into a big hoppy finish. Doesn’t taste anything like 6%. Hic. Superb.
