3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at craft clapham. 4.9% Nice golden colour with a lasting pure white head. Aroma is crisp cereal malts with spicy Nobel hop. Crisp clean flavour with some crisp chalky carbonation. Highly carbonation tickles the tongue. Nice dry finish. Palate is a bit thin. Light mineral. Very crisp and refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lovely aroma - little fresh tartness on the nose and a good amber colour. Good crispness on first taste could do with a little more petulance.
ALMOST a fresh ammonia - not unpleasant - initial taste with a savoury finish reminding me of lime leaves.

Bottle drank on hols in St Ives. Hazy gold beer with a good white head. Palate is smooth and slightly airy and fairly dry. Dry pale malt with slight lactose. Touch of orange before the dry finish. Clean pils but too dry.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a golden beer with malty and slight floral fruity flavours, toffee notes and a sweet followed by a slight woody finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home in London - snagged from Whole Foods Kensington. Pours perfectly clear yellow, mildly effervescent, with a creamy white head. Doughy malts dominate the aroma, with notes of hay, white bread, biscuits. Light to medium sweet flavor with more bready-doughy malts, white bread, hints of lemon drizzle sponge cake, cereal, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, slightly sugary finish with moderately bitter straw, more doughy biscuits and cereal. An uncomplicated lager. Wouldn’t be hard to sink a few of these.
