On keg at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Goldy orange body, bit hazy, good white head. Nose is the hop staples, pine, citrus, tropicals. Bit of sweetness on the taste, good dry finish. Bit too fizzy and cold, but I can imagine this being a good refresher on a hot day.

Garrold (733) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2014
Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy, pale gold. Thin, white head. Sweet malt. Light pineapple. Hint of citrus. Taste has sweetness upfront, then a bitterness that builds slowly, and lasts.

Bottle from the best service station in Britain - Tebay, Cumbria. Hazy amber pour with a small white head. Fragrant hop and tropical fruit nose were the themes that pressed on from the nose to the taste. Decent bitterness and all very well poised. Really a very drinkable IPA that is hard to fault. I can’t have imagined being able to buy a beer of this quality from a motorway services in Britain 5 years ago. Shows how things have progressed for the better.

An extremely off putting "smelly sock" aroma from this one. Perhaps a bad bottle, but made it very difficult to enjoy. Lovely hazy yellow color however, the taste mirrored the aroma, resiny burnt hop cone flavor. Not quite a drain pour but one that was not enjoyable.

Pours marmalade orange with no head, not the best looking. Aroma is slight hops, spruce, Pines citrus. Not enough bang for me. Lots of hay and as you finish beer alcohol overtakes. Body is light which can’t support the alcohol and is watery. Carbonation is okay but disappears into a sugary bitterness on finish. Not a great fan of this. Missing a lot of the basics to pull a balanced beer together. Not great.

Chr0s (14) - - FEB 12, 2014
A floral fruit salad nose, primarily orange and peach. Not as hoppy as I expected from the label. I personally prefer floral qualities to overpowering hops in IPAs, so this was nice. Well balanced. The fizz was noticeable on the tongue, and it had a nice level of bitter after taste (not overpowering!). I drank this during an intense pub quiz at Crowd of Favours in Leeds.
