3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Tomlinsonís Beer Shop, Inverness
Golden amber, slight haze, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of citrus hops, soft pale malts, soft lemon
Taste of citrus hops, bit of orange zest, some bittering hops, soft cereals, nice zesty hop, soft pale malts, nicely balanced, good flavour for the abv
Palate - soft carb, bit oily texture, quite smooth. Finish as main flavour with some lingering zesty cereal bitterness
Overall - Good flavour for the abv, good for a lowish abv bottled beer - must try this on cask. 330 ml was not enough...

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
330 ml bottle.
Almost a gusher. Pours a clear copper colour with a large frothy white head. Aroma is very metallic with some grainy and bready notes. Flavour of grainy malts, vegetables, metals, strong grassy bitterness and bread. Light bodied and extremely high carbonation. Foamy mouthfeel. Bad batch, hopefully.

Bottle courtesy of Reuben
Pours burnished slightly hazy gold with offwhite head. Pineapple notes and plenty of bitterness with just enough malt for balance. One to try on cask I reckon.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the Woolpack, Boot, Cumbria. Pale amber, large white creamy head. Lots of American hops up front, with pine, grapefruit and a little breakfast cereal. Quite dry and a little bitter. Pleasant enough, but thereís so many beers like this around nowadays and this one failed to stand out against the crowd. OK.

Bottle. Copper colour. Bitter and hoppy, though would have expected more hop aroma and flavour.

Ottima bitter molto beverina, lascia la bocca piacevolmente secca con un amaro mediamente lungo ma non invadente!
