D’ampolla al Rosses i Torrades. Groc clar amb escuma blanca. Gingebre en l’aroma i sabor. Suau i refrescant. Cos lleuger amb bona carbonatació. Una agradable sorpresa. Interessant.

Bottle BBE: 16.1.16. Well-chilled. Pours a cloudy pale amber with no head and floaters. Medium intensity aromas of honey, ginger, orange peel and earthiness. A little tart to begin, with a moderate sweetness following up. Flabby, lacking bitterness. Light-bodied, watery, insipid, fizzy, earthy ginger finish. It’s different, granted, but this is not an experiment to follow-up on.

Cask at Moo Bar, Penrith. Pours amber with off white head. Ginger overload, harshly so. Bit of a face puller.

Cask at GBBF 2014, hazy gold with a little head and aromas of ginger, a light tartness, and faint orange. Refreshing and spicy, with ginger and fruity pale malts, and an interesting lemony sweet-bitter edge.

ForlornHope (196) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2015
Bottle at home. Pours orange-yellow in colour with a white head and a lot of effervescence. On the nose: slightly musty, lemony, earthy aroma with a slight ginger spicyness. Sweet to taste with a gentle bitterness. Flavours of fruit and spice, the ginger is nice and subtle. Ends dry and with a good, lemon tartness. Chilled on a warm day, a very pleasant and refreshing beer.

clear amber gold with spicey stem ginger aroma. Medium gingernut biscuit body, moderate carbonation, fruity. Decent enough but needs a bigger ginger punch.

Bottle, best before 2015-05. I should probably have read the label before buying this. Light hazy yellow with a large frothy white head. Nose has a lot of ginger, lemongrass and spices which also goes for the flavour. Some flowers and hay too. Light bodied with lively carbonation, pretty refreshing. I will never be a fan, but I guess it’s good for what it is.
