Aroma of ginger with som fruit, spices and floral notes. Mild malty sweetness with strong ginger flavour and a nice burning finish and aftertaste. Refreshing and nice.

33cl bottle. Transparent golden colour with a huge white frothy head. Looks better than most similar beers in appearence, really nice. Aroma is a blend of yeast, ginger and mint, soft and pleasant. Concerning the flavour, there’s some candy sugar and wheat added, but it’s overwhelmingly herbal and minty. Skunky sensation in both tongue and palate. Medium body, good carbonation. Well brewed and definetely a different experience.

Bottle. Faint misted gold with a patchy white head. Tangy lemon and lime jelly aroma powdered with ginger. Pickled ginger, lemongrass softness, good lemony hop with a hint of bite; biscuit sweetness and pale nutty malt keeping things sensible. Reminiscent of KJ’s coriandered homebrew. Tingle of heat on the swallow. Smart, tasty, perfumed stuff.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy ginger. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spciy, ginger, peppery ginger. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Strong ginger beer nose. Flavour is more ginger, some spice and a hint of hop but largely this is a dissapointing herbal. Thin, unbalanced and not particularly nice. Hardknott are doing some great beers at the moment - this aint one of them.

330ml bottle. Pours gold with a thin head. Aroma is warm ginger with a little lemon. Taste has some ginger and lager corn to start. Warm, soapy ginger to finish. Soft carbonation.

D’ampolla al Rosses i Torrades. Groc clar amb escuma blanca. Gingebre en l’aroma i sabor. Suau i refrescant. Cos lleuger amb bona carbonatació. Una agradable sorpresa. Interessant.

Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. A hazy golden coloured beer with a sweet, toffee and warming ginger flavour with fruit and slight bitterness on the finish.

Bottle. Hazy orange gold with a thin foam. Aromas are sandalwood with oak and low oranges. Floral with light spicy ginger. Some marmalade with hints of soap. Flavours are lemonade with pink grapefruit and woody notes. Herbal with hints of mint and a ginger, spicy burn finish. Decent.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is ginger, floral notes along with herbal and citrusy notes. Flavour is ginger, mild maltyness, citrus and some mild wooden notes. Balanced and refreshing.
