3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Well this was quite nice, and 10 years ago, it would have been in my top 10. As it stands, a superior IPA, more woody than most, with a generous creamy palate, and a spruce/citrus finih;. but I worry, that just like carlsberg is marketed as the best lager in the world, craft beer manufacturers thinks their IPA is so good, we should all bow down and worship, and blurb it as so. Good, but not that good (for me).

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from Redmonds of Ranelagh. Quite a dark shade of amber, huge rocky white head, lots of activity in the glass, foaming all over the place. Strange candi sugar nose, Flavour is sweet up front, then huge dry bitterness with yeasty notes. Medium bodied, really fizzy. Finish is grapefruit and a little malt sweetness. Strange brew, almost Belgian in character, but not bad.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled 0,33L. Dark amber color with a nice bubbly aspect and a creamy head of long duration. Pleasant fresh hoppy nose, little braced notes, resin, cask. Fruity hop taste, moderate sweet start with good lively taste and an arid, equilibrate, long bitter final

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
330ml bottle from BeerBods. A very enjoyable IPA indeed. Fizzier than other IPAs I have had, but that soon passes to leave a caramel aftertaste. A good amount of hops, too. Will definitely drink again.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle bb 13/06/14. Very lively! Pours with a huge off-white head and a dark red amber. Aroma is good - from a distance you get some floral, perfumy notes but it’ss a rich veg, earth, sweet caramel on closer inspection - a little bit boozy too. Nice. Medium body, medium carbonation. A bit of booze first, which mellows, then raspberry caramel sweetness alongside a bit of funky veg and finishes with a dry citrussy bitterness. Pretty good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle, served in Shaker. Pours amber with a huge off-white head, looks good. The aroma is slightly herbal and caramel-ish, the rest is yeast and citrus. The flavour is more toasty than expected, with lots of earthy notes. Some caramel presence as well, but not much sweetness. Dry palate. Medium body, good carbonation. More similar to an amber ale, but it’s well brewed. Enjoyable overall.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from City Beverage Company, Shoreditch. Pours ruby/amber with a small khaki head which quickly disappears leaving some solid lacing. Nose is very toffee forward with light raisin and apple. Not overly hoppy but you get that touch of bitterness coming through. Taste shows some pine and grapefruit with heavy caramel backing. Medium bitterness at the finish. Works nicely. Solid stuff

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from A Tutta Birra, Milan, bb 13-06-14
Dark brown color with reddish hue; huge head. Deep aroma, hops in the front, some fruits, then biscuits and caramel, finally English yeast. The mouthfeel is semi-dry, there is too much carbonation; with strong caramel flavor, dark caramel, touch of roasted malt, and light liquorice; it has a good blend of resiny hops and yeast; the final is a bit spicy.
Lot of character; but also rough.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle form Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Lovely deep chestnut red colour with moderate carbonation. Bready malts, a touch of caramel, citrus hops, jammy fruits, a pinch of chocolate powder and a lingering dry finish with a touch of pine. Enjoyable.
