COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned. Has been seen in cask.
This IPA is not particularly Pale. In fact it’s a deep ruby red. Based on a modern American style beer from Oregon using Cascade and Centennial hops in appropriate proportions, for bittering, aroma and dry hopping balanced with a strong Crystal malt backbone.

Keg. Red with a white head. Loads of strawberries in the aroma. A little less so in the taste. Some citrus fruits. One of my favorite red ales.

A deep uncompromising ruby with a orange tint that questikns the P in IPA. Thin tan, lating creamy very lacy head. Smells of sweet caramel but under the loads of hops that citrus grapefruit. Smooth creamy frothy body. Slightly burnt toffee - dark cristal malt - leathery pepper on the finish. A wonderful lingering bitterness on the aftertaste. Sweet balanced against spice and citrus in a kickass.

Birra rossa IPA dal profondo gusto deciso e con un intenso retrogusto amaro persistente. Schiuma fine, aspetto velato, intensità olfattiva normale così come la frizzantezza, corpo strutturato. Birra di alto livello da provare !

Bottle. Best before 02/11/12. Pours red/copper with a huge rocky light tanned head. Aroma of rich malts, fruity and floral hops, strawberry and pine. Taste is those rich malts, toffee, even coffee and liquorice, spices, very rich and smooth mouthfeel, ends strong bitter, spearmint and a touch of alcohol as well, very good IPA.

500ml bottle from Tomlinsons. Aroma: Top Hop-tastic, sharp, just like a bunch of malts have been almost roasted and not quite toasted. Look: Stunning creamy head during the pour, nice caramac type colour. Taste: BAWOWZA - first gulp is full-on bitterness, full bodied, sweet malty. Scrumptious.

Pours amber/red with a offwhite head. Aroma of strawbeery, caramel and resin. Flavour starts with resin and grapefruit then balances it with the fruityness from strawbeeries and the sweet caramel. Nice mouthfeel.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Reddish-amber pour with a white head. Coconut and orchard fruit aroma. Flavours of malts, coconut ice and raspberry. Interesting. Long fruit finish. Nice.

[500ml bottle, UtoBeer stall, Borough Market] Dull red colour with a decent white head, very clear. Bitter hop aromas from the off, combine really well with the malt component. On the palate too, piney bitterness from start to finish, but the malt balances really well. Red IPA’s have that extra something that distinguishes them from regular IIPA’s, and this is no exception. Really drinkable too, very dangerous at 6.5% [09062011]

A light ruby-orange beer with a creamy, sour nose reminiscent of flemish red ales. The beer is a nice mixture of tart and bitter with a lingering alcohol burn. The hops give a fair amount of bitterness but this doesn’t overpower the tartness of this beer.
