Cask conditioned handpump Harp London 15/02/13. A golden coloured beer with a white bubbly head. A sharp hoppy beer verging on harsh but just about managing to avoid that. Good tropical citrus stuff throughout. A nicely brewed hoppy almost challenging beer. Lots of flavour for 3.8%

12th March 2012 On tap at the Rake. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Light semi dry palate. Fresh. Moderate carbonation. Fair bit of pale malt with a trace of honey. Mild orangey hops. Not bad but probably suffered from my previous beer being the Brew Wharf hop monster (Nic and Nates IPA).
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerCast_Rich (1687) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 6, 2012
[cask at the Bow Bar, Edinburgh] Golden pour, thin head. Pretty bitter on the nose, a large amount of grassy bitterness in evidence. Taste is sharp and grapefruity, with plenty of hop in the Hardknott beer, as ever. Long bitterness, quite dry overall. I’ve got to admit, I didn’t get much caramel on the flavour. Sharp in the finish – a modern bitter? [29022012]

Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen on 25th May 2011. Clear amber-gold with part lacing off white foam. Zesty and fruity initial aroma; rich developing hoppiness in the liquid - floral herby and grassy with notes of peach and grapefruit. Very satisfying.
