Cask, The Last Plantagenent, Leicester. Dark brown with a bubbly head. Aromas are fruity, malty and rich with licourice and berries. Flavours are rich fruity malts with some roast character. Sweet, moreish and full-bodied. Dry on the finish. A good beer for a cold night.

Cask conditioned at The Furnace Inn, Derby. Dark brown beer with slight head. Big fruity warming beer with plenty of sweetish malts giving a good mouthfeel, short and disappointing finish, but thats probably what Guy Fawkes thought too.
