Short review, social. Half pint from cask at the Rising Sun, L.E.D. pumpclip. Hazy brown, small white head, some lacing. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is malt-forward, soft bitterness, basic stuff.

Vladivostok (323) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2014
A rather typical Greene King beer. Mid-brown, loads of butterscotch, not a lot of hop flavour, not much finish. Really just a very run-of-the-mill best bitter made by a macro brewery that is more interested in marketing than product quality.

Decent dark amber pour with slight white head. Caramel, malt, touch of spice. Smooth, typical bitter finish. Nothing exceptional, but certainly gets the job done as a bitter.

allmyvinyl (6066) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 29, 2014
Cask at the grosvenor. Pours clear copper, thin white head. Aromas of caramel, light nutty note. Taste is sweet, dried mixed peel. Clean finish. Ok.

ManVsBeer (5671) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2014
Cask @ Moorings, Sowerby Bridge. Copper-red with a thin head. Crisp but a touch on the thin side with a bushy-floral aroma and a hint of winter fruit sweetness.
