Cask at Bonnie Prince Charlie, Chellaston, Derby. An inoffensive, light, spring ale. Attractive golden copper colour, slightly fruity, slightly bitter, pleasent enough for an evening’s easy drinking.

Cask Handpump at Wetherspoons, Manchester 30/05/2002 Copper golden colour and light. Slightly dry malt finish.

Sampled cask conditioned. Attractive brownish copper colour. Sharp blueberry aroma. Slightly fruity, a bit watery mouthfeel, more blueberries. Light bodied and not much in the way of bitterness. Slightly salty finish. Despite it’s lightness it has qualities and, it grew on me.
