Orange with a white head. Aroma is full of yeast, grass and pumpkin. The flavor is very heavy on the pumpkins with some lemons, grass and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

(750ml bottle) cloudy medium gold, lasting wispy Offwhite bubbles. Nose of pumpkin spices, gingerbread, raw pumpkin mash, little funky. Taste of meat, very spiced, funky, not my favorite.

Bottle: Amberish, very faint haze, moderate carbonation, thin to moderate off-white head, spotty lacing. Definite nutmeg aroma, slight cinnamon, otherwise all-spice and a touch of clove. Smells very much the part! On the tongue its almost a citrusy nutmeg/cinnamon combination. A lot of spices here, and a little difficult to pull each one out. All-spice seems to really bring up the rear, with soft clove. Perhaps even a touch of ginger as well. Very spicy, but thankfully not over done. As an 8.5% beverage, it is masked very well! It certainly will sneak up on you, as it has done on me. Finishes with faint ginger and clove lingering, even some citrus peel. Smells more the part than it tastes, nutmeg/cinnamon on the nose, while the clove/ginger seem to come through on the tongue. Comes across as very artisanal. Well made for sure, and one that makes me wish it were fall again!

My fiance and I ran around the city looking for this beer before all the taps in the city ran dry. The brewery was out but we found some at Tobacco Company Restaurant. 1st thought... Yum! Very drinkable with a present yet balanced pumpkin flavor. Smells amazing! The beer was much lighter than I expected but that’s something I actually like about it! I can throw a few of these back while enjoying the subtle sweetness, pumpkin flavor, and crisp holiday spices. Will re-review next season as to give more details about the beer. Spicy nutmeg and pumpkin aromas. Nutmeg, pumpkin and fruit flavors. Overall a very good pumpkin beer.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Courtesy of Bill from Beer Club For Men. Orange amber pour with a short, tan head. Aroma is soft pumpkin, soft yeast notes, straw, grassy hops, light earthiness, soft caramel, light cinnamon, soft brown sugar notes, and soft clove. Taste is pumpkin, light pumpkin pie spices, straw, grassy notes, earthy hops, soft caramel, dusty yeast, light ginger and candied yams. Taste is more saison than pumpkin beer. Body is light-medium with a strong, effervescent carbonation. Finishes with more pumpkin notes, a strong spice profile, caramel, grassy and earthy hops, dusty yeast notes and straw.

Draft - poured a clear orange color with a small white head. Aroma was more clove and some allspice than perhaps nutmeg or cinnamon. Seet ginger notes, pumpkin - mild malts - this was a pretty good and solid pumpkin brew. Very refreshing for 8.5% - liked the brew a lot.

750 mL bottle from Once Upon A Vine in Richmond, VA. Dark orange pour with a thin off-white head. The baked pumpkin, nutmeg, and clove really shine in the aroma. Good flavor of pumpkin pie and its spices. Moderate alcohol warming. Nicely done and, in my opinion, worthy of a higher overall rating than it has initially received.

Growler fresh from the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a nice pillow of white head that leaves delicate lacing. Aroma is big and spicy with a bit of funk and earth. Taste is way more fresh pumpkin rather than pumpkin spice. Not a spice bomb here. A nice slight earthiness. A great farmhouse beer and a great pumpkin beer all in one.

750ml from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond. Hazy pale orange pour, with moderate sediment swirling around and a medium prickly carbonation. Nose of mild yeast, some generic spice, and a touch of sweet heat. Body is a bit sharp from the combination of various spices, and it gives things a dry finish that helps the beer (which might otherwise be too sweet). Could be more of a solid farmhouse at its base though.
