Sampled on draft at the Hardywood Tap Takover at Joe’s Inn. Clear orange amber pour with ring of white head. the aroma is standard crisp green citrus hops and some butterscotch. Flavor is where you pick up the habanero. Not so much the actual ’flavor’ of habanero, but more the ’spiciness’ of the pepper. The flavor is surpisingly just kinda citrusy hops. Definitely has a ’burning’ sensation on the way down, but not entirely unpleasant, or like rubbing alcohol. Despite the fact that I could never drink a whole pint of the stuff, I imagine that fans of chili beers would really dig on this stuff.
