This was the base beer used for the gingerbread stout. Pours black, slight brown at edges, nice tan head fades slowly. Aroma primarily of chocolate, slight espresso. Flavor is a match. Medium to full body. Remarkably creamy, almost like a nitro even though it isn’t. Very nicely done. Would love to see them have this kicking around more often.

Pours a light black with a nice tan, bubbly head. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malts, a little coffee and caramel. Lots of chocolate, some strong coffee notes and roasted malts with a smooth flavor and a nice bitter finish.
