3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at brewery. This would make sense being the base beer of the VA Strawberry and Blackberry beers (I’ve only had the Strawberry, but it seems pretty similar).
Poured a slightly hazy yellow-amber color with a medium sized white head, lots of carbonation in this one.
Aroma was a ton of wheat, with some light sweet malt characteristics.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy yellow. Aroma lightly of wheat. Flavor is wheat, faint spicy note that I would guess may be more yeast driven than from any additions. Lacking the punch of orange and coriander I like in a wit. But a pleasant lawnmower type of brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the brewery. Base beer for the VA strawberry and blackberry beers. A plain wit, though with nothing added (no coriander or anything). Pours a hazy hay/lemon. Nice little pillow of creamy head. Good mix of yeast and banana. The little bit of fresh, citrus hops aroma is a really nice touch here that sets this apart from a run of the mill wit. but overall a typical bready wit. Great drinking outside on a warm day.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
I believe this is the base beer for the Virginia Blackberry and Strawberry beers, and frankly the base beer is much better. Pours a hazy lemon color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of bread, spice and herbal notes. The taste is wheat, citrus, spice, floral notes and herbal hops. Medium bodied, creamy texture. Nice beer.

Murky dull golden pour with decent light tan head. Clean and not very spicy. Didn’t get much to it all other than the wheaty/bready character. Very soft and smooth on the tongue. But maybe that’s why the call it naked!
