Bottle - hazy yellow with a small white head. Citrus and some bubblegum in the aroma. Dry upfront , with a slight metallic edge, some citrus, short dry finish with a hint of banana. Thin bodied with a average carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a small off-white head that fades to a coat. Aroma has bread, lemon, banana, vanilla. Rather flat mouthfeel for a hefe. Taste is moderately sweet with a little banana and less lemony tang than suggested by the aroma. Quite nice spices - cloves, white pepper, vanilla - in a brief finish.

330mL. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head leaving spotty lace. Aroma is at first lemon zest and lager grain moving eventually to overripe bananas. Taste is carboardy, artificial banana flavoring.

Pours amber with a small head. Nose shows light wheat with plenty of sweet malt and some lemony hops. Flavours are pretty much the same but the malt is dominating, not enough wheat. Much too much carbonation.

From a 330ml bottle on 15/5/2010. Has a really pleasant banana aroma, with a touch of vanilla. However, when it hits the mouth, it’s a little disappointing. It has quite a bit of sweetness, with some prototypical wheat beer characteristics, but there is almost no bitterness to be found, and the carbonation is a little strong.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour. Nice white head. Aroma is highly hopped. Hints of banana upon tasting. Is bitter, but only mildly so. Not bad, I quite enjoyed it.

Bottle. Pours a golden / brown colour with small whitish head. Aromas of cloves and yeast. Flavours of some spice and wheat malt. Plenty of yeast flavours also. Quite lively mouthfeel. Had better hefeweisens.

Tap at brewery. Great heffeweizen. Aromas of citrus, and coriander. Taste is sweet and long-lasting. Oily palate, with a thin-to-medium body. Cloudy yellow, with a fizzy head.

33ml bottle. Pale colour with very good carbonation and a smallish head fro the bstyle. Doesn’t look like most other hefeweizen’s I’ve had. Floral and citrusy bubblegum aromas. Lively and zingy in the mouth and a bit hazy and murky.

330ml bottle into tulip glass. A cloudy dark yellow-orange beer with a short lasting small white head. Unusual look for a hefe. Aromas of yeast, subtle cloves and lemon peel. Flavours of wheat malt and cloves with a lemon citrus finish. I could not detect the advertised vanilla notes (nor any banana). Medium bodied with a lively mouthfeel. Despite what it says on the label, this doesn’t taste anything like a traditional German wheat beer. More work required if you ask me. Expensive as well.
