Bottle. Lovely clear golden brown with excellent white head. Lovely floral and citrus aroma. Light body with slightly creamy mouthfeel from plenty of fine carbonation. Flavour has clean refreshing start with some stonefruit hints. This develops into a rich maltiness with hints of coffee or dark chocolate and ends with some decent bitterness. An excellent beer.

Tap. Another great beer from Hargreaves Hill. Aromas are roasted, and floral. Taste is nicely bitter, with good length. Silky palate, with a medium body. Orange colour, with a thin frothy head.

copper with chill haze (but i don’t mind) and perfect dense foam on top. vivid tropical fruit aroma - centennial/amarillo/whatever. in the mouth the main impression is malt though - fresh bready, biscuitty malt rolling out around the tongue. melanoidins rather than caramel. soft texture - perhaps too soft and blurry. finishes fruity and only just bitter enough. a well-made beer, subtle and fresh and balanced and natural-tasting and very drinkable. just needs a bit more of an edge perhaps - a bit too soft and muted at the moment.

Bottle. Slightly murky brown with amber tinges when held up to the light. Nice creamy white head. This disappears pretty quickly leaving a little lacing. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel and citrus / pine from the US hops. For me the aromas are just about spot on with nothing dominating and perfect balance. Flavours initially show heaps of malt sweetness before the hops start to dominate. Plenty of hop bitterness initially followed by plenty of resin on the finish. Quite bitter at the end and some alcohol is apparent. Carbonation and mouth feel are as expected. Can’t help but love this beer.

At times it seems to be a bit to yeasty ,which may be a freshness issue , however it is a decent ale

Poured a rich brandy color, with quite a tightly packed head. Light hopped aroma, with predominance of malt. Quite complex, with an aniseed flavour on end of the palate. Good lacing, although of the two I drank, I think the second one was better, as it was slightly warmer, and showed a lot of interesting characteristics.

Bottle -- Pours a very, very cloudy toffee colour with a large, thick off-white head and lots of little bubbles. Retention and lacing are good. Aroma has lots of fruit and honey, and is quite sweet. The initial taste has all that fruit and honey but it dies away quickly, leaving you more conscious of the soft, sudsy mouthfeel. A teensy touch of bitterness. Not a lot of aftertaste. It lacks oomph but it’s soft, gentle and kinda friendly... :-)
