Bottle. Pours black with an offwhite head. Smells of faint chocolate notes, some mild smoke, roasted malt. Tastes of a medium sweetness, medium bitterness, some coffee, chocolate. Medium bodied, heavy carbonation, oily texture.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma has notes of wood, roasted malt, and dust. The flavor is sweet with notes of tobacco, roasted malt, and wood, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark brown with a slight red hue and a small tan head. Aroma is heavy on the chocolate side of stouts. Dark chocolate and roasted malts. Light chocolate lacing in the flavour with a little coffee and a hoppy finish. A little too carbonated but other than that quite a pleasant, easy dirnking stout
