UPDATED: MAY 11, 2009 Bottle, 5.2%. Roasted aroma, a little smelly feet. Clear brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour starts off OK roasted, but not too exciting. There is a little sourness in there, weakly lactic, perhaps vinous or something.

Clear medium amber / red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, frity acidic like black berries and cranberry. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081221]

It is dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and syrup. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, syrup, caramel and some hints of chocolate in the long finish. It’s a pleasant beer to drink.

not really a dunkel in looks, more like a dark ruby red. Aroma is quite hoppy and pleasantly malty, reminds me of Viking Jólabjór back home. Large head at first but dissapeared and leaves a firm but small head. Taste is a bit malty, a bit overcarbonated, but pleasantly balanced. This is very quaffable, nice session beer. Good stuff
