3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 haukur (761) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - OCT 28, 2005
not really a dunkel in looks, more like a dark ruby red. Aroma is quite hoppy and pleasantly malty, reminds me of Viking Jólabjór back home. Large head at first but dissapeared and leaves a firm but small head. Taste is a bit malty, a bit overcarbonated, but pleasantly balanced. This is very quaffable, nice session beer. Good stuff
