berlin bierfest 04. a lot of the best beers at the festival were obscure hefeweizens. this had a banana nectar aroma and appearance, tasted of vanilla and banana ice cream, really soft texture

Murky medium to dark yellow color with grey notes, a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, light clove. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, clove, fruity, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Cloudy opaque golden with a dense white head. Citrusy, yeasty nose. Medium body, dominated by yeast and some phenols in the finish. Not so fruity. Ends very dry. 151010

courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - pours a slightly hazy golden colour under a robust white foam; aroma of banana and grapefruit with a touch of cloves; tart and highly carbonated with some sweetness below; the finish is quite evanescent, fizzy and shows more notes of banana

Bottled(500ml). -Hazy peach coloured, huge white head, acidic fruity nose. Very fruity (banana at most), mild spicy and yeasty taste with notes of vanilla. Very refreshing, decent weisse.

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, large head. Yeasty and fruity with hints of banana and vanilla. A very well-balanced Hefeweizen from a reliable brewery.

Pungent nose with lots of banana aromas, hazy pale orange color, foamy head. Huge banana taste - excellent. Banan-o-rama. Spicy too. Thinner than I wanted, but pretty cool overall.
