COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a light bodied and mildly hoppy ale brewed with 2-row malted barley, crystal and a special Ashburne malted barley. Golding and Cascade hops are used to provide the balanced palate for this fine session beer.

[Sample - Brewery] A light golden color with a nice head. I liked the overall flavor and the aroma was very thin. This seemed more like a light lager than a pale ale This was a very complex flavor and missed the boat as a Pale ale. Needs more work. But not bad to drink.

Slightly hazy golden color, good creamy white head, lace. Grapefruity nettles aroma from Citra. This one has also good body for ABV. Flavor has pale malts, sweetish pineapple, pine and citrus. Lots of flavors in this beer. Citra is not dominating in the flavor, Palisade brings up some piney notes I believe.

Very weak pale ale all the way around. Watery and not much flavor and bad on the palate, something stuck with me. Unimpressed.

My Bottom Line:
This very sessionable Pale Ale matches citrusy hops to crunchy pale malts for a pleasant quaff.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam lasts atop the hazy yellow.
-The svelte body increases drinkability.
-Cereals are as important in the finish as the fruity, spicy hops.
-Flavors are levelled throughout, of restrained intensity.
-I wish more breweries had nice low-gravity brews like this one.

On tap at Naked City.

Tap at Naked City. Hazy amber. Nice foam. Attractive hop aroma with some malt sweetness. Sweet malt is tasty but hops are a little faint for me.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thin head. The aroma is light in the aroma with hints of biscuity malt and some floral hops. Flavor is also light with biscuity malts, floral hops, and a hint of citrus. Very light and quenching. No flaws, just not much going on. Super sessionable.
