UPDATED: JUN 27, 2009 22 oz bottle that my good friend Leems picked up for me at the brewery. Poured out a moderate orange hue with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is vivid citrus hop with some caramel malt, but the flavor is more malt heavy with a citrus hop backing. Still tasty, but I prefer a more hop forward brew myself.

Bottle that was picked up and brought back home. Poured a hazy orange color with a smaller off white head. Did leave some lacing on the side of the glass, not a lot. Aroma was weaker grapefruit, spruce and citrus. Sweeter malts up front that went to a little hoppy. pine bitter finish. A more well balanced IPA. I like them hoppier, this one was still a good beer, just not as hoppy as I like.

1Pint 6oz Btl. Pours dark amber, slightly hazzy with little to no fizz. Aroma is of average hops. Taste is somewhat flat to the palate and the finish also finishes flat. Overall, the beer is beter than your average beer...however, my opinion it misses the mark for standard IPA’s.

Pours slightly hazy orange with a massive head that was poured an inch below the rim, then the release of co2 from the bottom of the glass built it well up over top of the rim. Once the head finally recedes, I get a lot of fruit and earthy hop aroma. The taste is fairly malty but still has some good hop kick. I would guess that this beer is somewhat past its best by date, but it’s still good.

Bomber. Solid copper colored with dark orange highlights and a half-inch of sudsy white head. The aroma is a mix of caramel malt, herbal hops and citrus. The taste starts off with floral hops and earthy malt notes along with a little bit of caramel, orange citrus and vegetal sweetness. The body has medium-level carbonation and a subtle citrus and malt finish. The overall flavor is relatively mild in the hops department for a Pacific Northwest style IPA and has more of an emphasis on the sweet malt notes. Simple but drinkable.

Slightly hazy amber color, small white head.Fruity flowery and piney aroma. Medium-bodied. Rich piney and resiny aroma with backing fruityness and caramel, even a bit sticky. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth palate. Balanced strong IPA with good drinkability.

A simple look into the IPA world from Harmon. Probably my fav from these guys’ regular line. Fairly wet, but hopped up enough to make it interesting. The double version of this is fun.

22 oz bottle. Very hazy orange with floaties and sediment and a small off white head. Big hop aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, and fresh cut flowers. The flavor is bitter throughout with a nice malt presence just for balance. Medium body with average carbonation and a long, clean, bitter finish. Great IPA, lots of hop aroma and flavor with a great balance of hops and malt.
