fakepurseninja (494), Sammamish, Washington, USA Feb 26, 2008 I think I got a bad bottle - Very sour overall. Tart apricot and tangerine dominate this drink which is very oddly sweetened, almost sickly, and hopped with a wierd sappy hashish essence. It was basically flat out of the bottle which leads me to believe there was a problem with it. Would like to re-rate once I get a chance another. Aroma – Deep Hops aroma. A great Double hop IPA. 100IBU’s? Not sure on that.
Appearance – Dark Amber color, Slight haze with a thin head.
Flavor – Great IPA flavor what a good flavored beer. The malts where also very nice.
Palate – Good use of hops the flavor was bitter with a nice dry finish.
Overall – This was a very nice IPA and I would recommend this to any Hop Head.
goldtwins (3734), Nesconset, New York, USA Oct 30, 2007 GABF 2007: Poured a hazy brownish yellow color with an off-white head. Grapefruit, citrus, and earthy hops with a toffee base make up the aroma. The malty flavor seems to have some age/oxidation to it. Fruity with pine and citrus. Dry finish and moderately bitter. Medium body. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Name: Raja’s Royal
