Cask@Harmon Brewery brewpub, Tacoma, WA
Clear dark amber color, small white head. Aroma is quite interesting: lots of berries (strawberries, blackberries etc), pineapple, some liquer and alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. Well, flavor has a big deal of berries too: rasberry-strawberry. Glueish palate. Alcoholic finish. Not sure if this is the best beer to serve cask conditioned, probably better with normal CO2 :)

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 bhensonb (7589) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 19, 2011
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours a beautiful copper with a creamy/bubbly beigeish head. Aroma is very floral and fruity. Med+ body. Flavor starts with a little roast caramel, then moves on into so much hop it seems like a mix of fruit/citrus/pine/floral, then a little more caramel comes out - something like a barley wine. The flavor is intense, but the immense hop is not at all harsh. It is amazingly wonderful.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 hopdog (7053) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 24, 2006
22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy golden-amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Large floaters. Aromas of orange peel, citrus, and pine. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and had a light honey sweetness to it. Hoppier in the aromas than the tastes. Some lacing left on the glass. I found the alcohol content to be fairly well hidden (finished with a light alcohol burn). Gave me some nice piney burps. Maybe the extra months I had this one mellowed it out some as I’m surprised by the lower numbers.

Draft at the brewery
Smells of a combination of some fruity sugary hops and some doughy champagne. Some white grape and pear flavors, some harsh and sweet oak. Very weird. Pear juice, tangerines, kiwi fruit and wood. Overly sweet, buttery at times, and semi-thick. Very sticky and assertive on the palate.

Amber colo, thin head, light lacing. Nose of bright starchy sweetness and overwhelming malts. The flavor is bitter with light hops and other malty notes. Finishes sweet, tangy. Nice.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Drake (5231) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JUL 19, 2010
Bomber courtesy of riversideAK. Thanks! Pours a hazy orange color with fine floating particles. Large white head with good head retention and lacing. Aroma of big citrus hops and big toffee malts. The taste is much the same... big toffee malts with some caramel and big citrus and resin hops. Moderate hop bitterness and a very well balanced beers. Thanks to Alex’s Mystery Swap 4 shipment, I know now know that the Pacific NW knows how to make a damn good IPA. Nice beer here.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 riversideAK (4567) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 16, 2008
Kind of sweet and malty aroma. Some candy citrus and some muted grapefruit and a touch of alcohol. Pours a hazy orange brown with no head. The flavor is hoppy with notes of orange, wood, and some grapefruit. The malts are somewhat sweet and biscuity. Some sweetness lingers and the finish is lightly dry and earthy. Pretty heavily malty with some alcoholic heat.
