22oz bottle from my secret santa. Aroma: Strong roasted grain note, fresh and sour raspberries, Chocolate and slight coffee. Appearance: Black in color. Light tan head was full and foamy with decent retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Strong sour raspberry flavor, roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Dry finish. Palate: Medium-light bodied. Medium carbonation. Slight astringency on tongue. Overall: Good in theory, but a bit of a letdown. Raspberry flavor and sourness was overpowering in the flavor. Not enough malt flavor or body to support it. To bad, because it sounded like a good beer.

22oz bottle bought at Harmon. Dark black with late thin head. Strong dark chocolate and raspberry aroma. Too sweet to drink too much of, but very tasty. Tastes like rasberry chocolate mousse. Would truly be perfect for a dessert beer pairing. Too much fruit though, and not enough stout.
