A good standard beer. Although not extraordinary in any way, it has no noticeable detractions either. Certainly has an enjoyable crispness and a smooth finish with maybe feint fruity/hoppy touch.

I somehow forgot to rate this beer a long time ago. This is probably the best of its kind...just not my style though. It is crisp and smooth, with a decent flavor. No skunkiness like many American Standards.

Not much to speak of in Aroma and Appearance. It makes up for it flavor and palate though. Kick it a point or two extra for being the beer that turned me on to beer (the first beer I truly loved). RE-RATE: I tried this yet again, and I canít give this beer a 3.7. Itís got too much of a bitter aftertaste.

the slight bitterness at first taste is replaced by a smooth aftertaste

Pretty wicked flavor great on tap under some guinness.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2003 Smooth with a slight malty sweetness. Not as toasty as some lagers. More flavor than the color would indicate, but still tastes like crap.

Harp is a very good lager all by itself, and magnificent as a íBlack and Taní with Guinness. But while I like it, I also think itís one brew whoís reputation outstrips itís actualy quality. Certainly not a disappointment, though.
