Good but not great. I liked it but not for the price. It had a strong yet smooth taste to it.

A decent beer that needs to br consumed quickly, it tends to die. Head is small and not lacey at all. Great in a black and tan though

If you like Coors Light...youíll hate Harp. A passion of mine limited by price.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2006 August 2001: OK American style lager from the folks at Guinness. Of note: the gorgeous creamy meringue-like head, a nice breadlike aroma (dies quickly though); typically sour lager aftertaste. Betterín a lot of ímainstreamí American alternatives--but also quite a bit more expensive. 6/4/6/3/12 3.1

January 2005: On tap at Finnegans Pub, Burlington. Among the best of the offerings at this sad little divy bar, alas. Four years on...I donít find this really any better than typical BMC crap, thereís a bit of stale doughy malt, sure, and the carbonation isnít quite as agressive as it is in say Bud Light....but thereís very little here to mention all in all. After this, I switched to Scotch as I couldnít face anything else this bad...

Turned flat and sour fast..head was more fizzy than creamy..definitely not one of my favorites

i cant tell why so many people like this bland lager. better when combined with guiness in a black & tan

Fine, solid, but nothing to write home about. This is some folksí choice for the tan in a Black and Tan, but Bass blows it out of the water, probably because itís an ale. For a lager, though, Harp is decent, especially as Ireland is not known for their bottom-fermented stuff. Good with pizza.
