Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Not much aromas or flavor but thats not a bad thing for the style. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Clean and smooth finish. Better than the comparable macros.

This beer, like many others has been DESTROYED! I am SO, so sick of companies and their ’bottom line’ mentality at the sake of sincerity! The image of this beer as illustrated is already two generations old. This used to be an EXCELLENT all around session Lager, light years ahead of many others domestic and imported. They watered it down several years back when they went to the green labels, and unfortunately it YET AGAIN, has been watered down, and made with cheaper ingredients further with it’s new packaging. It still has better flavor then like Miller High Life and other U.S. domestic junk, but it’s a far cry from what it used to be. Subsequent generations will never know how really good this beer was. Sad...

Excellent for what it is. If we are objective based on style this ranks high. No foul smells like many pale lagers, get is slight hint of citrus and apple. Looks standard straw yellow, tons of bubbles streaming. Taste is light and crisp no weird or off flavors. Just a super drinkable easy going beer. 60 degrees and sunny in March here in Minnesota and this was a good first beer of the weekend.

Really, I can’t imagine anything more bland. Look up bland in the dictionary and see a picture of this. When in an Irish bar stick with the Guiness, at least it has taste,

On tap. Pours clear pale golden colour with ’firm Guinness"-style high sticky creamy head. The body is very clear. Light aroma of hops, grassy, and malt, nothing special. Light body, thin texture, flat carbonation. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter, very smooth. Dry finish. Nothing too exciting, except of appearance.

Harp Lager is a satisfactory beer but nothing extra special in taste. In fact, it is average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Standard cheap lager. Sweet with lots of pear/apple notes, although not sure if they’re intentional. Not good.

440ml can from beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Grassy and gassy sums it up really. Astringent finish. Pissy.
