I had it on tap. It pours a clear golden color with a white head and some lacing. The aroma is corn , bread, and grass. The taste is the same without the skunky bitterness you get with many beers of the style. Itís a smooth and drinkable beer. Itís a good value beer.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a small frothy long-lasting white head. pleasant aroma, sweet, hoppy, bready, faintly fruity. Refreshingly light taste, hops, malts, no bitterness. Really nice, easily drinkable.

Aroma of honey and grains. Medium mouth feel. Flavors of light toffee, toast, and malts. Would be good as a black and lager with Guinness...of course!

Pours a clear golden color. Pretty tall head, white and short lived. Little lacing. Nothing extraordinary.

Aroma is bready and also hoppy. A little more character than normal for a lager.

Taste is bready and hoppy. A little more bold than normal for a lager. A little more bitter. It has grassy hops that are a little more prominent than most. I taste medium roasted malts. Itís has a little more character than most lagers.

Mouthfeel is light. Lighter than what I expected. It finishes clean and dry. Itís almost like drinking water. Odd, I can taste the malts in my sinuses. Iím not sure why Iím tasting that, but it gives me a perspective I didnít have before.

Overall, itís good. Itís better than you Budweiser, your Coors, your whatever. More character, more flavor, and more pricey. But itís still a solid lager, and I would recommend trying it if you havenít.

I remember I used to drink this beer when I was student. It was £5 for 8 cans(?) I think it was. This was my first and possibly the last Irish lager I have ever tried. It was a basic everyday lager. Drinkable considering the price.
