Bottle - Can’t believe that I’ve not rated this before. Deep gold, without much head. Large flakes floating around. Malty aroma, with a little corn as well. Medium body, with an oily consistency. Long finish. Not bad for a lager.

This beer is owned by Guinness but is actually brewed in Canada. Still it has a good color, aroma, and flavor. It is very refreshing. An average beer that is good on occasions.

Lightish clear copper color with a medium white head. Mild aroma of your basic malts, grains and light citrus. Flavor was pretty nice. Nutty malts, light hops, corn and grains. Not bad at all. Quite flavorful for a 4.3% brew.

This was tried at the ’Fox and Fiddle’ pub in Toronto on June 22, 2007. The colour was a dark gold colour, translucent, with an off-white head about 2cm high. There was not a lot of aroma to speak of however. The taste was crisp with a metallic tinge to it. Nothing to write home about, but not one to avoid either.

(Can) Pours pale yellow. Sweet, fruity honey like aroma with some white bread maltiness. Also quite doughy yeasty with a touch of flowery hops. Medium sweet flavour with a light grassy sting and a light lingering yeastiness. Light flowery bitter. Light to medium body.

Not bad for a Pale Lager, though it also is darker than others I’ve had. The head is white and has pretty good carbonation. Although it is from the brewers of Guiness, it is not from the St. Jame’s Gate brewery. It’s from New Brunswick. I drank this from a lager glass.
