3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2013 Pours clear and deep golden, frothy thick white head, not long lasting though. Nose is toast, cereal and light fruits. Snappy carbonation and bitterness leads the way, followed by some cereal and bready malt flavours, and a quick semi dry finish. I grew up thinking this beer was piss, but now that I know more about brewing I realize that itís actually pretty good!

Draft into a guiness glass. Pours light hay without much of a head. Crispy, clean, slightly corny but fairly drinkable lager. Nothing too complicated.

Crystal clear golden pour with a light head no lacing. Pilsner malt aroma. Slightly bready. Mild spicy and earthy hop flavor and the malt breadiness comes through again. Not all bad just boring.

If Iím going to drink a lager Iím not going to drink this. I will stick to my American lagers. This was a bit too pale for me as well. More water than beer.

On tap from a good Scottish friend. Has a deep golden color. Good head and lacing as your drink it. Good carbonation. Aroma is hoppy, but balanced by a malt presence, and it follows to the taste. This is a decent beer.

Pours a dark yellow. Bland lager that is only a little better than the standards of Miller, Bud, Coors. Not a bad, cheap lager choice for an Irish Pub

4.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Upon pouring correctly, it leaves a one finger white fluffy head. The head dissipated within 30 seconds. It laces nicely and the lace remains. The body is a bronze orange color. The bubbles are everywhere with constant streams going up to the top. The aroma is relatively strong but is present enough to be pleasant. The smell is of maybe noble hops, with malt and maybe grain. It has some water to it but not so much as the adjuncts do. The smell is real pleasant and invites the taste. The taste is definitely of hops with some malts coming in as an aftertaste. The taste is kind of bitter but quite crisp. It is pleasing to the palate. An enjoyable beer to taste. The mouthfeel is just as much carbonation as necessary. Its dry enough to be enjoyable and makes you want to take another drink.

Ok beer. Mass produced and average in every way. Still, not a bad choice at an Irish pub.
