ChrisPants (317), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Mar 24, 2005 Probably over 100 samples over past 6 years, but this one on tap at the Imperial Room when I realized I hadn’t rated it yet. Golden color. Light grain and touch of banana. Medium body moving into crisp finish with no lingering bitterness.
Mega session capabilities.
mpersinger (73), , California, USA Jan 3, 2009 Draft poured gold and bubbly with faint white head. Aroma hints at hops. Flavor is sweet malt, body is creamy and finish is dry and a tad hoppy. ROGUE (388), Newark, Delaware, USA Dec 29, 2008 12oz bottle and on tap. Pours golden yellow with a billowy white head that slowly thins to a film. Aroma is pale malt, breadiness, fruit, grassy notes. Mouthfeel a little heavy, with medium carbonation. Taste is crackers, malt, tangy citrus, bready aftertaste with a slight tinge of bitterness in the finish. tsetlock (22), Livonia, Michigan, USA Dec 26, 2008 Very nice looking honey color with white head that stays for a while, leaving a little lace. Very very weak smell but smells sweet and flowery. Very weak taste also, and that is not good. Very slight sweetness, with a weak finish of hop spice. Very thin and pretty watery, with not too much carbonation, either. Very drinkable, but does not have much of a taste. Not worth its price, either. I do not have a problem drinking it, but nothing that I would be going out of my way to buy. Could be good on a summer day, but at the price, there are much better choices. Live and learn. wheelz843 (137), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Dec 21, 2008 bottle. has a sweet fruity aroma. pours a clear light yellow with a thick, quick dissolving head. has a very full flavor of wheat with a bitter aftertaste. very refreshing and easy to drink. better than scores would show. tarheels86 (266), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Dec 19, 2008 330 mL.
