500ml cans from LCBO; bought a bunch for last St. Patty’s day. Nothing special; typical macro lager. Better than the typical Molbatt’s stuff out there as it has some body and doesn’t taste like water.

Pours a golden yellow with two fingers of white foam. Aroma is malt and corn. Slight sweetness. Not much to it.

Aroma is fairly bland. Some carbonation and some tin tang from can. Taste is a light sweet maltiness with a bland bitter finish. Body is a pail gold with a thin head that retains moderately.

Pale pour, slightly bitter & crisp. Easy to drink and refreshing. Not much to add as one pale lager is very much like another.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2014 Your basic Euro pale lager. Not much to speak of in the nose. Subtly sweet grainy flavor, faint hops. Easy to go a few rounds with this one.

12oz bottle. Pours a sparkling golden color with fizzy white head. Aroma is dominated by grain. Grainy malt flavor, thin texture. Crisp finish. Boring and bland.

Straw golden with terse visible carbonation producing a sizeable and lasting bright white puff of a head. Nose is stale pearl barely pissy, reminds me of exactly what beer smelt like when I was ten. Carbonation clears house palate wise, fizzy and concrete bitterness. Odd creaminess follows, before a malt driven recoil of piss dank straw. Rolls into the ditch with a weird cheap onion/lemon mulch. Reminiscent pint but not in a good way.

Pale in color with light head. A tad skunky for my taste. Fine for half of a Black and Tan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle into pint glass, clear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma of light grain, fresh hay and faint floral/fruity yeast. Taste is pretty much the aroma with notes of corn-like sweetness, slight citrus(lemony) and light hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. A pretty good pale lager that’s not hiding good light lager characteristics. Not saying the best beer ever, far from, but way better then average US macro.

floydslip (137) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Sandy-colored beer with a fizzy white head of varying sized bubbles. Weak musky nose of generic-smelling hops and not much else. Flavor has a slight bitterness offset by a crisp effervescence, which is really this beer’s best quality. Quaffable on a hot day, but standard and totally unexciting.
